Welcome to the 23rd Lismore Lantern Parade.
We invite you to participate in this year’s fabulous Market deLight showcasing the best, unique and yummiest of the Northern Rivers’ fare. The Market deLight will be held in Carrington Street, Lismore from 12-9pm.

Stallholders who make, bake, grow/produce their wares locally will be given priority. Applications for 2nd hand, unique or Fair Trade stalls will be assessed individually and are encouraged to apply.

Our 2017 theme celebrates the resilience of our community in the aftermath of Cyclone Debbie and we ask that stallholders please decorate their stalls with hearts, fairy lights and/or lanterns. We had hoped to move to the Quad this year, but Debbie put an end to that idea, next year for sure. So we will again be located in Carrington Street as in previous years. Make sure you send in your application soon, so we can create the best Market deLight ever.

NB: Market deLight makes no guarantees as to the crowds that will be in attendance or to the profits you will make at the event. There will be no refunds given, except in the case that the event is being cancelled or your application is not successful.

terms and conditions

  1. Applications must be submitted online, unless by prior arrangement.
  2. Preference will be given to residents of the 2480 post code and stall holders who meet our selection criteria (see above). We will not accept unhealthy, cheap imported, un-environmental goods for sale.
  3. Fee includes3m x 3m stall site, larger by negotiation. Additional fees may apply.Food & Beverage discount of $20 for no power. Listing on site map only if stall confirmed & paid for prior to 12 June 2017.
  4. You must abide by WH&S regulations set out by LightnUp Inc and Lismore City Council.
  5. You must have a Lismore City Council Food Permit. Apply here.
  6. Please provide LightnUp Inc with a copy of current Public Liability Insurance for the stall.
  7. Use environmentally friendly packaging, no plastic bags or straws please. (Info sheet available).
  8. Please remove all waste, including waste water, from stall site at end of festival.
  9. All stalls will be checked by our electrician and market coordinators
    prior to trading.
  10. Stalls must be decorated with your own lanterns and lights.
  11. All stalls will operate from 12pm - 9pm. Please ensure you have adequate staff to look after your stall for these hours.
  12. Bump in from 7.30am with ALL cars off site by 11am, no car access between 11am and 9pm.
  13. Bump out commences at 9pm.

  1. Open the stallholder application form below which includes terms and conditions and payment details. Once the application form is opened save the document to your computer and re-open.
  2. Complete the application form and save the document as a new PDF and save on your computer.
  3. Send the completed document to lightnupaccount@tpg.com.au
  4. Attach your Licenses and Public Liability Insurance documents with the email.
