There will be two locations for this year's Market deLight: 

Carrington Street/Back Alley Gallery - YOUTH HUB

Carrington Street will operate from Midday – 6pm
This area will promote the lively and diverse community of Lismore. With community information, local craft and local food stalls being encouraged to apply for this area.

The Quad/Magellan Street

The Quad and Magellan Street (from Keen Street to Dawson Street) will operate from Midday – 9pm. This will be the final location of the Lantern Parade at the end of the night with live music and performers to keep everyone entertained. Stalls will be located throughout the site, with some trading onto the Keen St pathway. A licensed alcohol area will be within this precinct. All stallholders are encouraged to apply for this area.

Market deLight 2018 is hosted by LightnUp Inc, who produce the Lismore Lantern Parade. All stallholder enquires should be directed to the coordinations below and not directly to LightnUp Inc:

stallholder information

  1. Applications must be submitted online, unless by prior arrangement.
  2. Preference will be given to residents of the 2480 postcode and stall holders who meet our selection criteria (see above).
  3. We will not accept unhealthy, mass-produced imported goods, offensive items or goods that pose a risk to our environment and health.
  4. You must abide by WH&S regulations set out by LightnUp Inc. and Lismore City Council.
  5. You must have a Lismore City Council Food Permit.
  6. You must provide LightnUp Inc. with a copy of current Public Liability Insurance for the stall on confirmation of your acceptance.
  7. Use environmentally friendly packaging, no plastic bags or straws, please.
  8. Agree to remove all waste, including wastewater, from stall site at end of the festival.
  9. All stalls will be checked by our electrician and market coordinators prior to trading.
  10. Stalls must ensure all electrical equipment is tagged.
  11. Stalls must provide their own infrastructure and equipment.
  12. Stalls requiring power must bring tagged 25m &10m extension cords to be connected to nearest LCC power board.
  13. Only commercial cooking equipment is to be on site. Ensure all Gas appliances are AGA approved for use in a commercial setting.
  14. Stalls must be decorated with your own lanterns and lights.
  15. All stalls will operate for the full time of the respective venue. Please ensure you have adequate staff to look after your stall for these hours.
  16. Bump in from 7.30am with ALL cars off-site by 11 am, no car access between 11 am and close. Individual Bump in times will be organised prior to the event.
  17. Bump out commences at end of the trading time, depending on the site. Vehicle access to sites for bump out will be decided by the site manager on the night depending on pedestrian traffic.

  • 3 x 3 Meter Site Area
  • Power - 1x10amp (If Requested)
  • Your business/name will be on any advertising/media that includes a list of exhibitors
  • Access to garbage and recycling waste services (NOT Water and Oil disposal)

Larger site areas or extra power requirements will be negotiated individually upon application.

cancellation policy

If you are unable to attend the Market deLight 2018 and you cancel your site before the 10 June 2018, you will be entitled to a full refund. If you cancel after 10 June 2018 you will not be entitled to any refund as all program and site maps will have been produced.

Applications are NOW CLOSED. Offers of positions to Market DeLight 2018 will be made by 23 May via email. A payment invoice will be included in your site offer. In order to accept your offer, you will need to pay the invoice in full and provide a copy of your public liability prior to the 1 June 2018.
