Three ticketing areas are available for purchase:

  3. GENERAL ADMISSION (Grassed Areas)
  • Members of the public are encouraged to view seating map attached below and conditions of entry prior to booking.
  • There is no allocated seating in any ticketed areas. However, some seats will be reserved for some of our hardworking volunteers and carers and family accompanying people with mobility needs.
  • Children 5yrs and under are FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.
  • In Grandstand and Outer Stand areas children 5yrs and under must not occupy a seat, they should sit on the lap of an adult.
  • If a child 5yrs and under would like their own seat in Grandstand/Outer Stand area, a ticket at Junior price must be purchased.
  • Ticket holders must print purchased ticket and present at venue to obtain entry.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Tickets may also be purchased on the day if seats are available. It is anticipated that all stand tickets will sell out quickly.
  • Accessible Seating area this year will be provided to people with mobility issues and their carer, (one person) you will be able to access this area by entering via Dawson Street Entrance that is clearly marked. There will be a drop off area in Dawson Street (between the two main entrances to the Oval) for all persons entering this area. This area will have front row seats to the parade and we will provide blankets, heaters and a toilet very close by. A paid Accessible Seating ticket must be purchased, with a career accompanying ticket holder at no charge. Carers must stay within this allocated area for the duration of the event or until you leave. Spaces are limited for this area so please ensure you book early. Additional tickets for family members can be purchased and will be seated in the outer grandstand behind the Accessible Seating area.
  • A professional Signer will be in the Oval.
  • Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early to obtain the best available seat within the designated area in which your tickets have been booked. You will SEE the PARADE up close and in COMFORT if you arrive and take your seat early.
  • Protection from rain cannot be guaranteed to ticket holders in any seating areas. Ponchos are recommended, no umbrellas please.
  • Ticket holders in general admission/ grassed seating area must sit during the performance.
  • You may bring camping chairs and sit in designated areas, the ushers will assist you.
  • Gates Open at 4:00pm
  • Hot food will be available from 4.30pm
  • Guests are encouraged to be seated prior to 6pm
  • Fiery Finale commences at approximately 6:30pm, with FIREWORKS set off throughout the performance with the main firing scheduled for 7:30–7.45pm
